It is the home of Sora, Riku, and Kairi. The island is split into the main island where the students go to school and a small island where friends go to play and hang out. There is also a secret place where Kairi and Sora used to draw on the wall.

A quaint and calm town, Traverse Town is where survivors of destroyed worlds take shelter after their world is destroyed.

It is the hometown of Roxas and it is infested with Nobodies. Despite its subtle atmosphere, Twilight Town is one of the largest worlds known. It is located in between light and darkness.

It is a palace where King Mickey, Queen Minnie, and the other character live.

Was once known as Hollow Bastion, A place that was consumed by darkness. Now it’s a home for all the heroes and also a portal to the forgotten worlds.

Castle Oblivion is an In-Between Realm world and is the only real world that is controlled by Organization XIII, and consists of thirteen floors and twelve basements.

If you are lucky, you will find an oasis known as the city of Agrabah in the middle of a vast dessert.

Almost completely underwater, Atlantica is a rocky world with immense holes on its surface. Beneath the surface is an entire world full of fish, merfolk, and other aquatic species that make up King Triton's underwater kingdom.

It is a world filled with wildlife. A jungle where Tarzan lives with his family

The ruler of this world is Jack Skellington even though he is not the mayor. This is most likely because he is in charge of making Halloween. Santa Claus is the ruler of the Christmas Town section.

A dark castle that has several corridors lined with gargoyle statues and suits of armor. But it has a beautiful ballroom where the Beast and Bell spend most of their time.

A magical island where you can never grow old. Pirates, Peter Pan and also mermaids live in this world.

A Chinese World where Mulan, Shang and the heroes of China live.

Be careful other wise you will be swallowed by this whale.

This world is filled with pirates. That seek to destroy the peace in this world. Help fight against the darkness and restore the peace to port Royal.

A quiet and peaceful world that is protected from the Heartless and Nobodies. This is a good place to relax and take a break from all the fighting.

This world is nonsensical and bizarre in its own way. A tea party without any guests and a forest of giant flowers are just some of the odd things found here. The world is ruled by the stroppy Queen of Hearts, and her card-like soldiers.

The planet comprises five major landmasses, with Esthar, the largest, covering most of the eastern portion of the map.Galbadia, the second largest continent, lies to the west, and contains many of the game's locations. The northernmost landmass is Trabia, an Arctic region. Positioned roughly in the middle of the world map lies Balamb, the smallest continent, the island on which the game begins. The remaining two landmasses are smaller and mostly desolate, riddled with rough, rocky terrain caused by the impact of a "Lunar Cry", an event where monsters from the moon fall to the planet.

It consists of four major continents: the Mist Continent, the Outer Continent, the Lost Continent, and the Forgotten Continent. The vast majority of people in Gaia live on the Mist Continent, and very few travel to, or are even aware of, the other three continents that make up their world, largely because the main mode of transport, airships, run on mist, and mist only exists on the Mist Continent, meaning they cannot fly to other continents.

It is composed of one continent and several islands. Spira consists of many diverse climates: the tropical seaside islands of Besaid and Kilika, the temperate locales in the Mi'ihen and Mushroom Rock regions, the polar extremes of Macalania and Mt. Gagazet, and the arid desert of Bikanel.

It is a region consisting of three continents; Ordalia in the west, Valendia in the northeast and Kerwon in the south. However, only the lands bordering the Naldoan Sea are explored. Other Ivalician lands (the former Republic of Landis, etc.) are sometimes mentioned but not explored in the game. In ancient times, King Raithwall united the three continents to create the united Federation of Galtea. As time passed, conflicts had split the continents again.
