"STOP" Tifa said jumping up and landed behind him. She had afew scratched on her right hand but she didn't care. "I WON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE BEFORE... I WILL PROTECT THEM ALL FROM YOU... as long as Cloud is surrounded by light he won't fall into darkness, yes he might think of you at times but he will also remember how he beat you. I will be there for him... for Cloud. I will give him my light and with it you will die. I am not afraid of you... and I won't let you drown his heart into darkness."
Tifa didn't care what Sephiroth would do. She promised Cloud to be there for him and to be his light. She knew that would place her life at risk but she didn't care as long as she could help the ones she loved. Her friends, Cloud and the kids.

Sephiroth glared in sign of despleasement, she lost it all so suddenly... The fear and the fury just vanished. He hated that, he didn't understand why they would wilingly sacrifice themselfs in vein... SHe knew Sephiroth was too strong for her, then why fight him back?! Was she so eager to die?... Well so be it...
Suddenly out of nowhere, Masamune was already in Sephiroth's hand, he dashed forward and turned to her.
If death is what you want... Then I will gladly give it to you girl... I'll make you die just like I did to your father... Kneeling down and begging for mercy...,Sephiroth glared her.
Sephiroth placed himself in a draw stance, Masamune had it's blade back. In a blink of an eye Sephiroth was already behind Tifa, with Masamune in a upright position.
Give up girl... Your time will come, do not rush your death..., Sephiroth wasn't gonna kill Tifa...Atleast not today that is... Although if she kept pushing it...THings would end badly...

Tifa jumped back and lifted her fists up once Sephiroth drew his sword. Was he going to kill her well she wasn't going to give up without a fight. "Begging for mercy... you know I don't do that Sephiroth though I want to know what angered you so? Was it the word I said... that I wasn't afraid of you or is it that I will protect Cloud and my friends from you with my light?"
Tifa had no intentions of dying that day. Sephiroth looked as if he was about to kill her but she knew nothing of his plans. "I won't die... at least not by your hands."

Sephiroth sighed with desappointment, no he wasn't upset because of that, frankly he didn't care about that... He was upset for another reason.
Humph... Why girl...? Why do you persist on giving your life to protect someone else?... You cannot hope to defeat me... Then why?! Tell me!, Sephiroth glared Tifa as he said it, right after he swinged Masamune and suddenly, a blue line appeared out of nowhere and sliced everything in it's path, it was aiming for Tifa.
I wonder... You are giving your life to protect them and CLoud... Will they give their lifes to protect you and Cloud?..., Sephiroth laughed while pointing up with his head.

"I am not about to tell you" Tifa replied as she lifted her fists up. She had a feeling he would fight her now and as she said she would fight back to protect.
Tifa managed to avoid the swing of his sword but then something blue appeared and sliced everything in its path. "What..." Tifa said as she jumped back. "You can never understand why Sephiroth... you are incapable of that. I will fight to protect them all."

Marlene was in her room with Denzel when she heard something break down stairs. She wondered if it was Tifa changing a few things in the bar. "Maybe she needs help..." Marlene would aways be there to help Tifa with the bar. She enjoyed doing that as well.
"Tifa need any help?" She asked running out of the room but then stopped in her tracks once she saw him standing there. "Se... Sephiroth..." She muttered in fear taking a step back.

Sephiroth let out a cold laugh... Protect them all?... She couldn't even protect herself... SHe was at Sephiroth's mercy, he was the one that could decide wether she would live passed this encounter, or die.
Indeed... I do not understand why you fight so hard to protect them... You willingly sacrifice youself and the end will always be the same... If you fight me, the only thing you will find is pain and I will most certanly do what I came here to do... If you don't, then you don't suffer as much and I can do what I came here to do more calmly..., Sephiroth said, his cold indiferent eyes looking into hers.
Sephiroth heard a few gentle steps, following was a feint little voice... Sephiroth turned emidiatly to the stairs and grinned evily but softly. So this is the little girl Cloud adopted... Why ho-, Sephiroth stopped, his cold indeferent eyes turning almost bloodshot. That little girl reminded Sephiroth of a brown haired girl Sephiroth killed a while ago... She even had that little pink ribbon on her hair. Sephiroth calmed down, although his aggravated expression sprout in his face. he was holding Masamune tightly between his fingers and he walked towards the girl.
When Sephiroth was close enough he looked down at the little girl. He kneeled down, sticking Masamune on the floor beside where he was standing. His cold catlike green eyes looking right into her eyes.
Humph... So you know who I am?... ANd you probably know what I did?... Tell me, do you fear me? Do you hate me? Do you wish me dead with all your strength?..., he asked the little girl.

Tifa glared at Sephiroth with hatred in her eyes yet she was still determined to protect the ones she cared for even at the cost of her life.
" I don't care if my life ends tonight... I don't care if you have the power to destroy me I still won't step aside and let you do as you please. Not as long as I am standing here I won't let you harm any of them"
Tifa then heard Marlene's voice and turned round in fear to see her standing there. "No..." She saw Sephiroth walk up to Marlene and lean down to frightening her. "LEAVE HER ALONE" Tifa yelled jumping up to land between the two and pushed Marlene back as an attempt to protect her.
"Marlene... hide and what ever happens don't come out." Tifa knew that this might very well end her life and Cloud wasn't there to help. She sighed heavily lifting her fists up as she looked at Sephiroth.

Marlene backed away again as she looked at Sephiroth. There was fear in her eyes. The one she was terrified of was standing in front of her. Yes she knew Sephiroth. Marlene saw him a few times but he didn't see her until now."Tifa..." she muttered frightened taking a step away from Sephiroth.
"No..."
"LEAVE HER ALONE"
Marlene moved behind Tifa and only looked at Sephiroth. She was afraid and he would know that without her having to answer his question
"Marlene... hide and what ever happens don't come out."
"Tifa... alright..." Marlene said as she let go of Tifa's hand and ran to stand aside somewhere far from both of them but she needed to be there she was worried about Tifa.

Sephiroth smirked. That girl had so much fear in her eyes. Sephiroth loved that, although that brought back memories of Aerith, the way she looked at him, fearless and ready... It made Sephiroth grip his sword even tighter. Sephiroth woke up from his transe when Tifa yelled and placed herself infront of him and told her to hide.
Sephiroth's gaze followed the girl, she didn't hide she just stepped away.
Sephiroth sighed and stood up, plunking the sword from the floor. He looked at where the girl was and said, You didn't answer my question..., Sephiroth looked his cold eyes trying to look above the obstacles that were covering the little girl.

Tifa was ready for what ever Sephiroth had planned she was waiting for his attack but all he did was gaze at Marlene. "I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE" Tifa said angrily as she stepped back to block Sephiroths gaze. She failed once to protect the ones she loved and suffered.
The loss of her father and Aerith wasn't something she could ever forget. And that was why she stood there ready to fight Sephiroth if she had to. "STAY AWAY FROM HER SEPHIROTH"

You didn't answer my question...,
Marlene took another step back why was Sephiroth looking at her like that. His eyes were filled with darkness... too much that it scared her. "Tifa..." She muttered her name in fear as she thought about Cloud where was he when they needed him?
"I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE"
"STAY AWAY FROM HER SEPHIROTH"
She knew Tifa was fighting to protect her but did she stand a chance against Sephiroth. "Cloud... where are you?"
