Before the Chosen One, Before the Marauders....
Before all of the chaos of the wars, before all of the death and loss, there was a time when the darkness was just an illusion on the horizon. The wishes, desires, and dreams of the wizarding world were nearly as certain as the rising sun. There was a little thing called hope that made all of the difference in the world. Hope sent them forward through the day, carrying on about their lives with a firm resolution and sense of security.
No where was this feeling more true than at Hogwarts, where young minds were brimming with knowledge.Each new day brought new discoveries for the kids, enriching their minds and developing their sense of self.
Yet not everyone is happy with the way that their lives are progressing, much to their dismay. There are those who venture to the edge of the light, in search of something more, searching for something to complete them. A shadow lays in waiting to welcome their wandering souls into its open and welcoming arms. "Come to me, my child," it whispers, comforting those who have fallen into its arms.
The year is 1968, three years before the Marauders started their first year at Hogwarts. This is the era of the Black sisters, the Lestrange brothers, the Prewitt siblings, the Weasley brothers, and most certainly a certain muggle-born wizard who may just happen to be the luckiest man on earth.
