She shook her head as she lifted it to look into Cloud's eyes. "No its not Cloud I don't see the point in this" Tifa knew very well the reason why Cloud left the bar to live on his own. He might be able to fool some but not her. As soon as he heard that Sephiroth was back he he was gone. But the reason was to protect them. Her an the kids.
But knowing Sephiroth he would still come after them even though he knew nothing about what happened between Cloud and Tifa. To Sephiroth they were targets to strike down just to get to Cloud. He knew they were friends and to Sephiroth that was enough to attack.
A sighed escaped her lips as she lowered her head to look at the ground. Sephiroth... she didn't want to think of that monster now. "Cloud... lets just go home alright"

Cloud then backed away from her....He wanted more than any thing than to return home with her....To see the kids again.....They must be really worried about him....
Cloud just simply smiled knowing that Tifa knew he would not join her...
"I guess the kids are missing me....Tell them I'll be home soon....Things are getting too dangerous....Sephiroth would not hesitate to come back to you......I suggest you take the kids some where safer. So he can't find you again...Just close the bar up for a while...I'm going to try and find some help....."

Tifa sighed letting her hands drop down to her sides. She knew it would take alot more to convince Cloud. It wouldn't be this easy to convince him it never was.
"No Cloud I won't let him ruin our lives. The kids love living in that bar and so do I. I am not going to run away. Even if I did he will find us again just like he did last time."
She paused moving over to Cloud. "Cloud you know as well as I that Sephiroth won't stop and now that he know that we are together... if I try to run he might burn down the city. Your the only one that can stop him please come back with me to the bar. I can't protect the kids I already tried and failed. I need your help." This was hard for her to admit, that she was still weak she hated that.
Tifa was also wearing a jacket. Not because she was cold but to cover the bruises on her hand. The ones she got from her fight with Sephiroth.

Cloud sighed....There was no where safe for them....Now that Tifa pointed that out. Cloud had stopped him in the past. But some thing was different now....Cloud was not strong enough. At least not like he was in the past....He couldn't even finish the man off when he first saw him at that Reactor.
Cloud then lowered his head and shook it....
"I...I'm not the hero Tifa.....I've had helped those last two times...And it was Zack....If not for him then world would now be destroyed....Don't give me any credit....But, I will try and fight him...If it comes down to that again...Which I know it will.....I just can't....."
Cloud stopped the minute he said that....He couldn't face Marlene or Denzel...They would be mad at him....No doubt that Marlene would be....But then again...Cloud would love to return home......

"Can't what?" Tifa asked as she looked at Cloud. She was careful not to show him her bruises knowing Cloud he would worry and start blaming himself and Tifa wanted to avoid that.
Was she getting through to him? It seemed like she was. "Cloud you are strong to beat him yes you are a hero. You just lost your light again let me help you find it. Let me be your light and I know you will find the strength to beat him again... your coming back with me right?" She asked now smiling warmly at Cloud

"I...I can't come home....Not yet....I know I disappoint you. But you are and first most the only light I have.....You will never fade....You're so bea---.......Tifa....." He had put his fingers to her fore head and started to brush her bangs away to see a red mark on her fore head.....He moved more of her hair off her fore head to see a big scrape there......"Tifa....."

Tifa backed away from Cloud once he noticed the scratch.She held her jacket tighter and looked away. She was hoping that he wouldn't notice. "Its nothing..." She lied hiding the rest but would he believe her now...?

Cloud looked down....He knew that they were....And he was letting them both down...But it was safe if he stayed away....

Cloud saw her back away....But he moved up to her again......
"Nothing? You call that nothing....? Why didn't you tell me? Where was I? That....that bastard laid his hands on you.....It's all my fault.....Anything else I need to know?"

"Cloud..." Tifa muttered looking up with watery eyes. She didn't want him to see this what Sephiroth has done to her. One reason was because Tifa knew Cloud would over react, especially if it was Sephiroth who hurt her.
At his question she looked back down. Tifa couldn't hide it anymore. He would know anyways from her expression that she was hiding something. "No... he..." And with that she let her jacket fall to the floor to reveal the bruised and scratches on her hand. They were still there but they also were slowly healing.

He looked up and saw her take off her coat...To reveal more scrapes and bruises....Cloud felt his heart stop a few seconds as he looked at her condition.....
"Ti...Tifa....Why didn't you tell me? You always told me to not hide any thing....Why were you doing it? Honey...I could've helped you...."
He had a very firm but loving and concerned look on his face.....He walked back up to her....And touched one of her arms....And lifted her arms up....It was pretty bad....She would've screamed out if she had any thing broken...He looked back into her eyes...
"You...You know how important you are to me.....Why didn't you call me?"

"Cloud I..." Tifa sighed as she looked down "I didn't want you to worry... you didn't know about this and already you moved out" Another sigh came from her lips as Tifa felt Cloud grab her hand. It came to one of the bruises and she grunted slightly but that was it. Her hand wasn't broken or anything serious. To Tifa these were just a few wounds that would fade over time.
She looked up into his eyes when Cloud mentioned that she was important and she smiled with a nod. "I tried to call but... you didn't answer"

He listened to her voice....It was in pain....Alot of pain....It was all his fault she was even feeling like this...But he wouldn't say anything about that...She needed attended to....Not him....He heard her grunt in pain as he grabbed her arm....And eased her arm back down.....
"I'm sorry.....Forgive me...."

Tifa shook her head with a smile looking up at Cloud. He should know by now that she would never blame him but Cloud alway did that to himself. That was the reason why she hesitated to show him this but after he saw the scratch underneath her hair she just had to show him.
"Cloud I don't blame you for this you know its not your fault." She looked deep in her eyes. "There is nothing to forgive if anyone is at fault its Sephiroth... I am just glad I am alive and these wounds they will heal with time and the pain will fade so don't worry alright"

Cloud nodded....He still felt sorry for not being there for her when she needed him the most....
"I just...Don't like to see you in pain. I think I need to be home tonight. With you. And the kids too. I'm just scared that some thing else would happen....Tifa....I'm coming home...."

"You will..." The smile broadened across Tifa's face. He was finally convinced that running wasn't going to solve anything. He was coming back home with her. The kids would be thrilled to see him back as well.
"Cloud... I am glad I was able to convince you. To be honest I didn't think it would be this easy too... it never was and I had a whole lecture ready too but it looks like I won't be needing it now" Tifa said with a chuckle looking at Cloud her smile was still as bright as ever.
