Personality:
Tifa is a cheerful and optimistic girl who old always lipts everyone spirits up when they are down. She is known to be kind and friendly with almost everyone and is always willing to do whatever it takes to help.
She takes care of the bar and the two children living with her and protects them with her life. She is skilled in martial arts but hates fighting and only does when it is absolutely necessary. She cares a lot about her friends and consistently worries about everyone.

I. Beat Rush: Runs up and punches the enemy a few times.
II. Somersault : Somersaults in the air while kicking the enemy.
III. Waterkick :A circling sweep kick accompanied inexplicably by water.
IV. Meteodrive: Picks up the enemy in a vertical suplex position and drops, slamming the enemy to the ground.
V. Dolphin Blow: Uppercut accompanied by water and a dolphin.
VI. Meteor Strike: Use Dolphin Blow 6 times. Picks up the enemy, spins it around, jumps high into the air and flings it downwards.
VII. Final Haven: Creates a giant energy blast with a punch, dealing 2.625 times normal damage to a single target.

History:
Tifa was born in Nibelheim, the same town where Cloud was born in and the two of them soon became good friends. When Tifa turned eight, her mother passed away and she was left to feel miserable. She heard a rumor that if you climb the mountains you can see the dead. Tifa wanted to see her mother one last time and so Tifa decided with a few friends to climb Mt. Nibel.
Unknown to Tifa and her friends Cloud followed her up the mountains in order to keep her safe if she was to get hurt. Tifa’s friends slowly abandoned her out of fear and Tifa was left to climb the mountain alone or so she thought. At the top she slipped and saw Cloud run to help her but he was too late and they both fell. Cloud only suffered a few scratches while she was in a coma for about a week. As a result everyone blamed Cloud for the incident and from that time he swore to become like his hero Sephiroth
The night Cloud was about to leave, he called Tifa and told her of his plans. She of course said nothing to keep him and only asked him to promise to protect her if she was ever in trouble.
A few years later, Tifa turned fifteen and started working as a tour guide in the Nibelheim Mountains while she took martial arts lessons. One day she was hired by a Turk to lead an expedition from Shinra up the mountains to investigate a Mako Reactor.
The expedition included Sephiroth, a 1st Class SOLDIER named Zack Fair and two guards. Cloud happened to be one of them but he kept his identity hidden.
Later on, Sephiroth lost his mind when he learned the truth and who his mother Jenova was. That led him to burn down the town before heading to the reactors. Tifa's father and some of the citizens tried to stop him but Sephiroth killed them all.
When Tifa found her father's corpse with Sephiroth's Masamune, she and was consumed by heranger and rushed into the reactor and attacked Sephiroth without thinking. After the fight she was left with sever wounds that that were thought to be fatal.
Tifa woke up to find herself in Midgar where she was taken to recover and met with Barret Wallace. She soon joins the AVALANCHE, an anti-Shinra resistance group and became the owner of a bar called 7th Heaven which was the base of AVALANCHE'S.
After a few years, Tifa found Cloud. She took him with her back to the bar where she convinced him to join the AVALANCHE so to try and help him. He agreed and they had a successful first mission with Cloud, but Tifa was kidnapped by a Shinra spy when she tried to get closer to obtain more information. She was rescued by Cloud and Aerith, but then Shinra kidnapped Aerith. They all manage to save her and faced trouble in with Shinra before they escaped.
Apart from the fighting, the AVALANCHE were also trying to find out more about Sephiroth's plan. Soon Sephiroth killed Aerith, and they learned that he wanted to destroy the planet, but in order to do that he needed to perform the spell Meteor.
Tifa and Cloud went to confront him and he told a fake story of what happened in Nibelheim. That Cloud was not who he thought he was, that he was nothing but another Sephiroth clone. Tifa knew that it was a lie and begged Sephiroth to stop. Regardless of her efforts Cloud ended up believing Sephiroth and was controlled by the Black Materia.
The group found Cloud shortly after suffering from Mako Poisoning and Tifa stayed behind to help. She traveled inside his mind and restored his true memories before learning about Aerith’s spell and how it was her casting it to help them. Cloud and Tifa spent the night together and fought the final battle against Sephiroth. The planet was saved and Gaia had a time of peace once Sephiroth and Shinra were defeated.
A disease called Geostigma was infecting the children of Gaia. Tifa was living in the same bar with an orphan boy called Denzel and Barret's daughter Marlene. Denzel had the disease and Tifa tried to take care of the bar and the children alone when Cloud decided to be on his own for sometime.
One day Tifa took Marlene to visit Cloud in the old church but he wasn’t there. Instead, they found one of the remnants Loz who was searching for Mother and wanted to take Marlene. Tifa fought against him trying to protect Marlene but ended up losing and was knocked out.
Cloud found her later on and she tried to get him to forgive himself for the past and ask him to go and get the kids back. The next day the three brothers had all the children with Geostigma lined up under the control. Tifa managed to save Denzel before Bahamut Sin attacked and most of the AVALANCHE members showed up for the fight as well as Cloud.
Tifa watched the final battle between Cloud and Kadaj and Sephiroth with the other AVALANCHE members and decided to the let Cloud handle this on his own saying that it was his fight. In the end Cloud forgave himself and everyone infected with Geostigma was cured with Aerith’s help from the lifestream.
Other:In the past she has always had deep feelings for Cloud but not once has she built up the courage to tell him. In the end Tifa settled to being his friends. She also Takes care of Denzel and Marlene and loves them as she would love her own children.
