Cloud smiled to that what she just said....She was happy...That was perfect....Tifa was right though...Cloud had promised to be a part time handy man around the bar....It needed attention in some areas....Maybe this would help Cloud too. To work things out with this new family he had....Tifa, Marlene and Denzel were now his family....All the ones in his real family were long gone.....This was his chance to prove it to Tifa that he could be there for his family.....
Cloud heard Marlene laughing still at what he had done.....Cloud was ready to get back home.....Home....He had a place to call home now....He thought to himself that he actually had a home to now call home....7TH Heaven....It was a piece of heaven to him.....
"Tifa darling....I'm glad to hear your voice as well....It's weird. But....I'm doing this for you honey....MARLENE!!!! GET DOWN!!!!" And the phone was cut off!! Some thing was heading at full force to wards the gas station! Cloud rushed and got on the bike as he held his chest and stomach area over on Marlene protecting her the best way possible! He didn't know that it was a mistle....Shinra's logo was on the side! But still Cloud didn't care at all!! As he tried his best to start the bike up! "HOLD ON!" He warned Marlene that he was about to kick the bike into high gear.....and he did....He spun out of the gas station!! Dust flew up every where....And he drove as fast as he could to get away from the target area....the gas station! Which was really bad!! As soon as he got some distance away the gas station was blown up! The impact was so massive the explosive went far as to where he and Marlene were! Cloud looked back...."JUMP!!"

Suddenly a missile came out of nowhere and was heading straight for them."Cloud..." she said frightened as she looked at him.
"HOLD ON!"
Marlene nodded as she held on tight as they sped away from the target. She was afraid now. Why did this have to happen... She was having a great time up until now why did Shinra have to ruin that for them.
"JUMP!!"
She did an fell hard on the ground from the impact of the explosion.

"Cloud... CLOUD" What just happened were they alright? The phone was cut off and there was no way she could know. She "No please be alright..." She said panicking now as she dialed his number again but nothing "CLOUD"
She couldn't sit there not knowing what happened to them. "Please... please be alright" she muttered getting up to glance out of the window and saw an explosion far of into the distance. "No..." She hurried out of the bar but made sure to lock it first as she hurried to where she saw the explosion come from.

"Cloud..."
Cloud saw the fear in her eyes! She was terrified....Who wouldn't be? Cloud tried with all his might to keep her safe from danger. But it was hopeless in this situation! The moment he told her to jump off the bike he felt the impact hit him! He hoped she got off the bike! He yelled out in pain as it hit him hard!
All was settled down....Cloud laid on the dusty ground....He weakly opened his eyes....The sun was bearing down on him....
"Ugh...." Was all he could say until he heard guns cocking around him.....Yup ShinRa.....That once when Zack was faced off on his own came to Cloud's mind.....He gasped....As he saw the troopers uniform....One like he used to wear......How was this possible? ShinRa was no longer in command of any thing.....Were they just out for revenge? All Cloud could think about was Marlene.....Where was she? Was she even okay? And it hit him! The first bullet! But the troopers were ordered to fall back....Cloud screamed out as he felt the bullet hit him in the leg! He at once grabbed the leg that was shot! They would've killed him like Zack if they were not ordered to retreat......Cloud just sighed as he laid his head back down.....

Marlene fell to the ground hard. Her eyes were closed now as she was afraid to open them afraid of what she might see. "Cloud..." She muttered in a low tone as she heard footsteps coming closer. Where was he and why was this happening now...?
Marlene then heard Cloud scream in pain what just happened "CLOUD" she yelled opening her eyes and ran towards where his sound came from and then she saw them. Shinra guards surrounding him. "No... Cloud..."
There was nothing she could do but Marlene couldn't just stand there and watch. She grabbed a few rocks that were on the ground and throw them at them "Get away"

Something wasn't right Tifa just knew that. She didn't doubt for a second though that Cloud couldn't handle this on his own or protect Marlene, but being who she was she just had to help she couldn't say at the bar knowing something was wrong.
Who was it though... who was behind this? 'Not Shinra...' she hoped but some how she knew it was them. Who else would attack them other than Sephiroth and Shinra? They both were after their lives especially when Cloud and Tifa were the ones that helped destroy it.
She was getting closer and now was able to hear voices and see some standing in the distance. Wait were those Shinra troops she was seeing? So it was them and with that Tifa pulled out her gloved and ran to their location.

"Get away"
Cloud gave Marlene a smile....The girl was always there for him when ever he needed her....Especially now.....
"Marlene....It's okay. I...I think they're leaving...." Cloud leaned his back up off the ground.....And just looked at his leg that was shot...It looked pretty bad....But he was gonna be okay....At least they only got him there....And no where else.....But it still hurt.....A lot....
Cloud had no idea that Tifa was on her way there....They were that close to Midgar....They were just in the outskirts of the city....Cloud ached to get back home ASAP now....This was getting to dangerous....They would have to seriously considering leaving Midgar for a while.....

Marlene did stop once Cloud told her to. She backed away from all the guards and hurried to Cloud's side. "Does it hurt?" She asked looking at his wound. She wanted to help but didn't know how.
Marlene also didn't think that Tifa was on her way. She knew Tifa would be worried but she just thought that she would call again. "Cloud... where is your phone?"

Tifa finally reached them and lifted her fists ready to fight Shinra but for some reason they were leaving. She didn't understand why but then again nothing Shinra did made any sense. This wasn't the time to fight them though not now She neeed to find Cloud and Marlene to know they were alright.
Tifa move away from the troops as she started searching for those two. Where were they? "Cloud... Marlene" Tifa called her name in hopes they would answer.
She turned around and scanned the wastelands to find something not to far where she was standing, Cloud's bike. Her heart skipped a beat as she turned everywhere trying to find them "CLOUD MARLENE" She called again louder than before as her fear of losing them started to get to her.

"Does it hurt?"
Cloud looked down ashamed to tell her yes....So he nodded that it did...That was a powerful bullet that hit him....If they fired in his chest area he would've died.....Tears started to fall down his cheeks....He was trying to be strong....But he knew that Marlene would not blame him if he was not.....
"Cloud... where is your phone?"
Cloud didn't know it had fallen out of his pocket when he jumped from the bike...He looked in both pockets of his pants....No phone.....
Cloud kept his head down....He was in a lot of pain now....He tried to move himself to get up but it was so hard to.....He knew by now that Tifa was really worried....That she was probably out looking for them....
"You...You gotta go look for Tifa....Bring her to me......Please Marlene....Please." He finally looked up at her with the tears rolling down his cheeks.....

Marlene saw his pain it was clear even when Cloud tried to hide it. "Alright..." She said getting up to look for Tifa. She knew if they didn't call then Tifa would be on her way there. All she needed to do now was find her and fast.
Marlene got up and walked over to where she was standing before. "Tifa..." She called out as she glanced around the place.

Tifa found the bike and it only caused her to worry even more. Where were they? Cloud and Marlene.... Did Shinra do something to harm them. "Marlene.... Cloud..." Se called out again panicking as she scanned the place.
Tifa then finally heard her Marlene's voice it was a faint whisper but she knew her and hurried to where she was. "Marlene... thank God you are safe but where is Cloud is he alright?"

"Marlene... thank God you are safe but where is Cloud is he alright?"
Marlene nodded as she sighed in relief once she saw Tifa. "We are okay... but Cloud is hurt... a guard shot him." Marlene explained as she grabbed Tifa's hand. She was afraid that they might come back but she also needed to get Tifa to Cloud.
"He is over there" Marlene pointed as she showed Tifa the way and soon they both made it to Cloud's side.

"Hurt" the fear showed on Tifa's face once she heard Marlene's words. She grabbed the hand of the bike as she followed Marlene to where Cloud was.
Tifa sighed seeing his wound. She was grateful that it wasn't serious but still they had to be careful. From the looks of things now they had tow enemies Sephiroth and Shinra. She let got of the bike and Marlene's hand as she made her way to Cloud. "Hey... are you alright?" She asked walking closer and knelled down to where he was sitting.

"Hey... are you alright?"
Cloud was holding his side as soon as he heard them coming back and couldn't hide it any longer....He was injured when the explosion threw him off his bike. Blood leaked through his clothes....As he held his waist line.....
"N...No." He finally removed his hand from his side to show them....That he was in need of help......
