Personality: He must once have been cheerful, but his pain and grief at losing Lenne turned him into hateful, coniving being. He works towards one goal and one goal only. Vegnagun.

History: Shuyin, like Tidus, was an extremely famous Blitzball player in Zanarkand. He was also the lover of a popular singer and summoner, Lenne. Because Zanarkand was at that time at war with Bevelle, all summoners were called to the front lines and even Shuyin was drafted into the army. When Lenne was captured Shuyin believed that the only way to save her was to activate Vegnagun. After much planning and scheming, Shuyin was finally able to break into the heavily guarded compound in Bevelle where Vegnagun was stored. He was not stealthy enough, however, because an alarm sounded and he was captured and put in a cage. He did manage to escape though, and once again made his way to Vegnagun. By this time, he'd discovered that the piano on top of his head controlled him, and he began to play. As he did so, a giant gun protruded from the mouth of the thing, and he only stopped when Lenne arrived and shouted to him. Surprised to see her, he did stop and left the controls to go to her. They heard footsteps then, and knew the end was near. The soldiers of Bevelle arrived then, and shot at the couple, who couldn't take their eyes from one another.
After this his spirit floats on for a thousand years and causes havoc by possessing Nooj and whomever else he can use to get to his goal.
