~Character Info~
Name: Rikku
Age: 17
World: Spira
Gender: Female
Race: Al Bhed
Job: Former Guardian, Sphere Hunter.
Alignment: Good.
Side: Light.
Appearance:
Rikku has the typical appearance of an Al Bhed, having the basic features. She has long light blonde hair that she wears in a very tropical like style, due to the face that she lives on an island. She has many small braids in her hair and keeps the majority of it pulled back into a ponytail. All of these braids have small, colorful beads in them. She also wears a light blue headband in her hair. Her clothing can be described as pretty skimpy. She wears a yellow bikini top, covering the bottom of it with a green skirt. She has long white arm warmers on her arms and also has an orange and whit scarf around her neck. She wears a pair of blue and white boots.
Accessories: Rikku wears feather earrings in her ears as well as brown gloves on her fingers.
Personality:
Rikku certainly is living proof that blondes are dumb. Other blondes would probably say that she gives them a 'bad name'. She is extremely ditzy and will give you one hell of a headache with her ditzyness and stupid questions. Other then being a ditz, Rikku is very obnoxious and loud. She will always say what is on her mind never thinking twice about what she would want to say or what she shouldn't be blurting out. Never trust Rikku with a secret that is important to you. She will have that secret all over the place within moments unless someone is their to put a hand over her mouth. Sometimes her mouth can get her into trouble as she will just keep blabbing on and make someone who is quite the threat to her angry, and put herself in danger. Typcially this would also mean some trouble for her friends also.
On a brighter side Rikku is a very sweet and caring girl. She will do almost anything for her friends and to make sure they are all right. She will even help someone in need that she hasn't even known for five minutes. Rikku has a very big heart and is certainly caring. This can also be a flaw in her personality as she can be too trusting and won't always tell if someone is dangerous just because they don't look it. She certainly wears her heart on her sleeves and really doesn't hide anything about herself. She can be a little weird at times especially when she is hyper, which happens a lot. She is extremely hyperactive, almost to the point where you would think that she has caffeine in her blood stream. She can be bouncing off the walls for no reason at all!

History:
Rikku was born on Bikanel Island in Spira. Her family consists of her father, the Al Bhed leader and her older sibling, Brother. Rikku is an Al Bhed girl, a race on Spira. The Al Bhed lived in the desert due to the fact that they were shunned by the Yevonites for not believing in their beliefs. The Al Bhed also used machina which was against the teachings of Yevon. Most Al Bhed also speak Al Bhed, but a select few know English. Rikku is fluent in both languages. Despite her being so young, Rikku went on several missions throughout Spira with her father and brother. She learned all about machina and is very handy with it knowing how to use it, as well as destroy it.
Rikku first ruyns into Tidus, and offers aid to Tidus shortly after he first arrives in the vicinity of Spira's mainland. Their meeting takes place at Baaj Temple, an ancient temple of Yevon. After helping Tidus defeat a fiend, her Al Bhed comrades manhandle him, believing him to be a fiend in human form, and wonder whether or not to kill him. Annoyed, Rikku forbids them from doing so, and tells them to bring Tidus with them. As added insurance, she whispers that she's sorry in Tidus' ear then hits him hard in the stomach, winding him so much he passed out cold.
hard in the stomach, winding him so much he passed out cold.
When Tidus wakes up on their salvage ship, Brother tries to interrogate him using hand signals. The other Al Bhed get frustrated when Tidus can't speak Al Bhed, but Rikku – surprising Tidus by speaking English – translates Brother's comical sign language, saying he could stay if he makes himself useful. Tidus then accompanies Rikku on a salvage operation to activate the power source of a sunken airship. After returning to the salvage ship, Brother and the others leave Tidus on deck. Rikku takes a shine to him and brings him something to eat – which he bolts down, only to choke because he ate too fast – and they strike up a fast friendship. When Tidus says he came from Zanarkand, Rikku is at first reluctant to believe him as, she explains, Zanarkand had been destroyed 1,000 years previously. She then promises to take him to Luca in the hope he might find someone he knows. However, Sin appeared and washed Tidus off the salvage ship into the sea, leaving Rikku and the other Al Bhed behind.
Rikku runs into Tidus again, when she is helping with trying to get her cousin Yuna. She is then introduced to the rest of the party and is given the chance to become a guardian to her cousin Yuna, which she accepts. While doing the pilgrimage, they are also trying to think of a way to defeat Sin, who they are running into constant battles and encounters with. Rikku is also looking for a way to prevent her cousin Yuna from dying at the end of her pilgrimage which happens to most summoners who go on it. She goes with the party on the pilgrimage enjoying herself but also worrying that she hadn't thought of a way to save Yuna from it. Once the pilgrimage is coming to an end, and no idea comes she really begins to worry.
As they neared Zanarkand, Rikku feels upset that no one had thought of a way to stop Yuna dying yet, but she remains adamant that they'll see each other again. But Rikku's wish came true when, as they met with the unsent Lady Yunalesca, Yuna refused the Final Aeon. Afterwards, Rikku and Wakka came up with the idea that they should use the Hymn of the Fayth to lure Sin into a trap, but Lulu beat both of them from telling it to the others. Tidus finally must go with the other Fayths and leave behind his friends. Rikku is sad to see her friend go and her and the others watch as he jumps off the farplane. Yuna also brings the eternal faith after Tidus performs this.
Two years later, Rikku, now 17, joins the Gullwings, a band of sphere hunters led by Brother. Rikku remains steadfastly loyal to Yuna, giving her support when she discusses her feelings concerning the loss of Tidus, and her hopes to find him once more.
Since the conclusion of Final Fantasy X, Brother and Rikku had a falling out with Cid. When the Gullwings look for a sphere among the Zanarkand ruins, they find that Cid and ex-summoner Isaaru had turned the once sacred place into a tourist attraction, which comes as a shock to Yuna and Rikku. When Cid asks whether they have a bone to pick and Yuna replies "You bet I do," Rikku tells him it's just like turning the ruins of Home into a theme park, causing him to retreat to the Thunder Plains to sulk.
Rikku meets up with her old friend Gippal – now the leader of the Al Bhed Machine Faction – who, being quite the ladies' man, would tease Rikku with his flirtatious jokes, including one about them having "made quite the couple" . Also, as Paine kept quiet about her past – and also that Gippal jumped a mile when he saw her, as well as the other faction leaders seeming to know her – Rikku would sometimes prod and poke her about it, only to succeed in annoying her. However, in their journey, Paine eventually tells them about her role as a sphere recorder for Crimson Squad, alongside Gippal, Baralai and Nooj.
In the end they decide to head back to Spira and three months after, the Gullwings are called back together, to Yadonoki Tower. Here, they travel to the top of the tower, where they find a broken machina. Paine reveals she was the one who brought them back together, to show them that even though they are now apart, they shall always be together
