Cloud was dreading this day. He knew it was coming....The day his parents had died....He knew now who had killed them too...Sephiroth....The one man, Cloud always looked up to....As a young child....It's amazing what things can do to people though. Sephiroth went insane the minute he found out what he was....And Cloud and Zack from then on was forced to fight the hero of Soldier on their own....Zack failed....But Cloud succeeded.....Twice infact...Is how many times Cloud had to end the mans life.....
Cloud left Tifa a note at the bar to let her know that he would be back in a few days....This was just some thing he always did to pay his parents respects.....
It was a long drive to Nibelheim......But Cloud was used to it.....He was used to being on his own as well....So this was nothing new....Cloud finally arrived at the small town village he grew up in around 7pm at night.....The sun was just going down....It was to late to be out at the grave site....Too dangerous....He was more cautious now when ever he was by himself.....So he checked into a little inn.....By morning....He walked across the lands to the grave site....There he met his parents grave stones again....He placed a rose on each grave......
"I know what you told me mom...That you were happier dead....I'm greatful that you've decided to stay there....There are some things that will be hard....I'm sorry again, that I couldn't save you or dad....I know I could've done more.....((sighs)) I just miss you guys.....You were there for me when others weren't.....You gave me life mom.....I'm surprised I lasted this long....You....You know what happened to me a few years ago.....Mom....I'm scared....What has happened to this world....To the other worlds.....? Well, I know.....You told me....But....Mom....I'm not the hero this time....I can't stop some thing this big....Mom....I need you....." Cloud looked up the minute he heard a twig snap on the ground.....

Nibelheim... It's been some time since he last came here. Of course the last time things ended up pretty badly... He murdered almost everyone, he kindled every house and all for one rotten head... Some people who worshipped Sephiroth in the past were probably wondering why Sephiroth did all those things, he was a hero, he had friends, every child hoped to become like him one day... Then why? Why kill and kindle just because he found out what he really was? Some people he killed even said "it didn't matter where you came from or what you are... Only your actions matter...", Sephiroth could only laugh at what they said. They didn't understand what it feels like, to have no emotions, to never loved and been loved before, to never truly lived. Ever since Sephiroth was a child, he was frced to train every day and wasn't given any love, the one training him said emotions were for the weak... That's why Sephiroth couldn't feel a thing. Although there was something that made him feel alive... Or rather someone... Cloud. Whenever Sephiroth fought Cloud, he felt alive. Sephiroth knew he was cursed for forever duel him...
There stood Sephiroth, at the reactor on mount Nibel... It's been a while since he last saw it, he didn't know what he was doing there... He had a feeling he should come here, or rather, he was atracted here by something... Sephiroth stepped in, memories of his past actions began to sprout... Memories of what he did back then. Has he stepped into the reactors core, his eyes widened, narrowing down the pod where Jenova was... Sephiroth entitled her as Mother... He didn't even knew what a mother was... He saw her has a mother because her cells were inside Sephiroth...
Humph after all these years and this is still the same... Would it have been any different if I hadn't discovered you?... Humph..., Sephiroth said as he went closer to the pod. He gazed inside, toching it with his hand, there was nothing... Glimpses of her beeing started raising, he was remembering the feelings he had when he first saw her... Sephiroth felt a rage deep inside of him, he didn't know why, but he felt so angry at everything...
Sephiroth grabed his sword Masamune, he slaced the pod several times, then he went slincing everything in sight. Until he finaly sliced his way through the roof. Hovering above the reactor Sephiroth focused energy on his hand. For a finishing touch he would tunr that place into a burning hell... Sephiroth made an uprising move with his hand a huge pillars of fire start appearing from the ground burning the reactor and the forest.
The fires spread quickly and before Sephiroth knew it, they were already hitting the town. Sephiroth smirked,Just like that time..., Sephiroth said and he flew through the air, making his way to the top of mount Nibel...

Mount Nibel.....Was not far from where Cloud was. He felt some thing....Something he did when ever Sephiroth was close.....His pain in his chest.....He grabbed it....And groaned slightly....Then a fire was started around Mount Nibel...Cloud looked up and saw it....He knew where the fire was coming from....The Reactor....What was going on? Was the question that raced in his mind....Was he back? Only one way to find out.....Cloud walked over to his bike....And got on....He started his bike up....And just rode up to the Reactor....When he got there....The refelction of fire was in his eyes....Fire....Cloud hated it....He could easily remember hearing people screaming from being burnt when he was little......Of course Tifa knew all about his night mares now....So if she were here....She would be concerned....
But Cloud had that itching feeling that some thing much worse had happened.....Cloud knew there was only one person he knew that could cause such damage in less than a minute.....Him.....
"Please don't let it be him...." Cloud had hoped that it was just a glitch that triggered the fire.....He couldn't see Sephiroth where he was just yet......As he got off his bike and crunched the snow with his boots.......He was weaponless.....He didn't want to seem to pushy......Until it was needed.....

Sephiroth was soring upward, dodging the rocks just by an inch, almost tearing his garments, his black coat flapping has the wind moved it. Sephiroth raced to the very top of Mount Nibel, there there was a wide area which was almost plane with no stone collums... That place would prove to be the best place to fight CLoud. Although Sephiroth found things a little different than the other times... He had a strange feeling. And that's what the problem was... He never "felt" before. It was making him a bit aggravated, he didn't understand that feeling... But it didn't matter, he had his objective to focus one, he had no time to have feelings... From a little distance, Sephiroth looked more like a silver comet, do to his long hair. Suddenly a huge stone column rose, he wasn't expecting it, but it wasn't a problem... Sephiroth reached for the Masamune, it seemed has though he crashed right through it... But no, the column was sliced into tiny bits and Sephiroth continued to the top.
After a few minutes, he was at the very peek of Mt. Nibel, it looked as though it was prepared for that occasion, it looked like a arena for battles, there wasn't a soul in sight... Sephiroth landed in the middle, as soon as his feet touched the ground, the black wing on his shoulder disintegrated into thousands of black feathers. He had his sword Masamune plunked into the ground, his hand on top of the sword. Now all he had to do is wait...

Debris fell from the fire above him...As he just stayed in his place....The debris never came close enough to hit Cloud....He was worried now....
"There's only one way to find out....." Cloud was talking to himself actually....He started to walk up to the Reactor....But glanced back at his bike...Tifa would want him prepared for any thing.....He walked through the snow again....And grabbed two pieces of his buster sword....Just in case....If it was Sephiroth, he would need some source of protection.....
Cloud then felt his phone vibrate.....He knew it had to be Tifa.....
"Not tonight babe....I'm sorry...." He sorta appologized for not answered her phone call....And started to climb up to that Reactor.....
Close....Closer.....He finally made it to the top....Snow started falling again...Letting out some of the fires......Cloud sighed. That was good....But still Cloud had no idea who he was going to see next.....Cloud turned his phone off....Just so he could investigate this better with out distractions.....

Sephiroth standed in the middle of the clearing... He still couldn't shake the feeling he had. It was starting to get him really aggravated, he was used to battling Cloud and he did not fear death, but why was he feeling this? Maybe it was excitment for getting to kill that girl one more time and fill Cloud's heart again with darkness? Probably... It was so thrilling seeing Cloud's tormented face when Sephiroth fell from the ceiling and impaled that girl...
But this time it would be different... Sephiroth had to really fill Cloud's heart with pure darkness. Not only Sephiroth would kill that girl again, he would also kill the girl that was always with Cloud, the one wearing black.
Sephiroth felt him, he was getting closer and closer, Sephiroth smirked, would it be this time he would finish Cloud?... The last time he didn't expect him to pull off a technique of that magnitude, plus Kadaj's body was weak, now Sephiroth had his own, powerful body...
Sephiroth felt Cloud was behind him, he smirked, his green cat like eyes watching the horizon,Humph... It's been a long time...Cloud... How've you been?..., Sephiroth had that cold evil tone he usually had.
It was time... Sephiroth turned his back onto the horizon, his eye looking at Cloud, behind him was Masamune plunged onto the ground.

Humph... It's been a long time...Cloud... How've you been?...,
Not a gasp not a growl escaped from Cloud's mouth as he was finally looking at his worst nightmare......His fingers gripped the sword in his hand....Even though Sephiroth had no weapon.....((In his hands at the moment.....))
"I knew you would jump at an opportunity like this....What do I have to do to make sure you stay dead?!"
Cloud glared at his rival....He was flesh and bone now...This was the real Sephiroth.....Not a Kadaj puppet......Before he knew it, his own breath got shallow. Was it because of the cold? He knew it was because this monster was back......Cloud drummed his fingers on his swords handle.....Waitting for any signs of attack move that this mad man would give with out warning......Cloud might have killed the man twice.....But let's see the first time, Zack had warn the man out a bit....Second.....Sephiroth wasn't really him.....Just using a body.....Now.....This was gonna be a little hard....Right now, Cloud wanted help.....There was no one around......Cloud knew he was on his own....He'd just have to suck it up.....

Sephiroth smiled. There in front of him, stood the man who defeated him twice, although... Those two times it was more of a handicap... Now it was the real thing. There was no Zack, no frail body... Sephiroth's green cat like eyes narrowed Cloud. He was still the same, still holding that six pieced sword of his... It was huge, few people could carry that thing, but having Mako eyes... Well that makes thing a lot more easier.
I knew you would jump at an opportunity like this....What do I have to do to make sure you stay dead?!
Sephiroth laughed, his evil laugh echoed through out the mountain. Cloud... How can you say that?... You should know by now... I am the darkness in your heart... As long as you live, I'll always be around you... In front of the shadows of your past. Tell me Cloud... Did you finally forgive yourself for letting that girl be killed by me? I cans till remember the look on your face as I pierced her with my sword..., Sephiroth said, with his cold indifferent voice, memories of him stabbing Aerith rose up, his cold and evil grin appeared on his face.You just stood there Cloud... You did nothing to stop me... You saw me killing her, yet you stared at me, scared, and did nothing to stop me... Did you wanted her dead Cloud?..., Sephiroth said, with his cold voice and his eyes narrowing Cloud's.

You just stood there Cloud... You did nothing to stop me... You saw me killing her, yet you stared at me, scared, and did nothing to stop me... Did you wanted her dead Cloud?...,
Cloud took a hard gulp in the back of his throat as Sephiroth was reliving those horrible memories.....

Cloud stood firm. Sword still gripped in his hand.....Tightly....He was ready....He knew any minute this would end bloody.....But hell he was used to that by now......Cloud tried his best to not show his fear....Towards the one that was in his dreams everynight.....

Sephiroth's eyes widened, he didn't expect Cloud to talk about her... Sephiroth's mother... Sephiroth went on that rampage years ago, just because of the truth and now Cloud was laying it for him like this... What would Sephiroth do?... Sephiroth could only laugh, he laughed so hard, he wasn't used to it.Oh? Trying to stirr up my memories?... I'm afraid you only wasted your time... I couldn't care less. Although what I care about recently is a little girl with black hair and another with brown hair... One I get to kill again... The other... Well... She'll share the same fate..., Sephiroth continued to laugh, watching Cloud carefuly. Although it got Sephiroth thinking... Could he recover Jenova and join with her? It was always a good plan... But the new plan is better.

And he didn't even mentioned his daugther... Sephiroth's grin appeared once again on his pale face. He killed Tifa's father and now to make Cloud's heart darker, he would kill her...

Cloud stopped....Well he totally messed this one up....Sephiroth would know now....That they both are close....But not as close as Tifa is.....If Cloud knew any thing....He'd know that Sephiroth would probably target Tifa first.....Cloud knew who the man Sephiroth was talking about.....It was infact, Tifa's father......Some way deep down, Cloud felt resposible for the man's death....Maybe it was because Tifa's father never trusted Cloud.....That was the main reason....Cloud then felt his throat go dry on him.....His blood was running cold....The thought of that mad man killing Tifa.....Was his biggest night mare.....Cloud's had many night mares of that....But he never knew it was ever possible again.....
And then there was Aerith....The one he watched die.....Yes, he still blamed himself for her misfortune.....She was and is one of a kind....She told him that she and he had alot in common.....And that was one reason.....Cloud knew where Aerith was....And he was not about to tell Sephiroth....Aerith had not had any good nights of sleep since she came back.....All she thinks about is him. The one that killed her.....
Sephiroth would know it....He would see the fear in Cloud's eyes....The thoughts he was thinking....Sephiroth could probably read his mind......

Sephiroth laughed, there wasn't really anything Cloud could do... IF Sephiroth wanted he would be already at her girlfriends house, or above Aerith's head with his sword pointed down, just like last time... You'll do what Cloud?... Stand there and watch like you did last time?..., the cold indefrent tone was disturbing... It really made the point that Sephiroth did not have any emotions. And he really didn't, the only thing he had was his objective.
Look...Just leave them alone alright.....You got what you wanted....Me! Now damn it!! What are you going to do about it?
Sephiroth smiled, giving that cold grin he said I have to say, I love that look in your eyes Cloud... It feels my beeing with satisfaction. They will be even more satisfiying once I do to your girlfriend, exactly what I did to her father... I can still hear his screams inside my mind... He asked for mercy countless times, he was lucky, I could've made things even worser than that...., Sephiroth maintained the evil grin, he was loving the expression in his eyes so much.
I wonder what your exppression would be like when I kill that brown haired girl again... Humph... I think it won't be as good, as your girlfriend's but it doesn't really matter for now..., Sephiroth said, his eyes watching Cloud closely. He could feel it... The darkness inside Cloud's heart was pilling up.

Cloud was breaking down.....Tifa was not here thank goodness....by the gods he needed her now......There was more fear showing.....Cloud could break at any moment.....He was fighting it.....But he really needed that one person by his side right now.....The one that promised she would not let him fall into darkness.....Tifa.
Cloud lowered his head....As he tried to shut out every word this man was syaing.....Sephiroth was right all along.....At that moment, Cloud was weak in the knees....The thought of Tifa's death made him break down.....He fell to his knees.....And let his hands fall in the snow.......He was not a fighter......He was nothing.....He was never a Soldier....So why even act like one.....?

Sephiroth had that cold smile on his face the whole time... Seeing Cloud suffer like that, it was something that made him feel whole. He didn't know why, but he loved to play mind games with Cloud. He would press on until the point that Cloud would either be helpless or would charge Sephiroth head on...
Stop?... Why Cloud? Memories are so delightful... And speaking of which... I have a present for you..., Sephiroth said, he reached for the inner pocket of his coat, grabbing whatever was inside and showing it to Cloud. Sephiroth laughed has he held a pink ribbon on his hand, flapping as a small gust of wind passed through it. That Ribbon belong to one of the kids Cloud and Tifa adopted... Sephiroth got that from when he chases Tifa around midgar, he did not hurt them... But Cloud didn't know that.
Sephiroth let the ribbon go off his hand, the wind made it land right on Cloud's lap, the pink ribbon that resembled the one Aerith usually wore.
The little boy reminded me of you CLoud... A strinking resembless I must say... And the girl? Well, she was similar to the one I killed before your eyes. Sephiroth laughed at the tormented Cloud.

Cloud grabbed the handle of his sword as he said that....The last time he said that, Sephiroth had split a whole wall to a falling building in half.....But this was some thing different.....A red ribbon. It fell on Clouds leg....Above his knee.....It looked just like Marlene's....Cloud's eyes widened in fear....The moment he saw it....A trembling hand touched it.....
"Marlene...." Cloud said the girls name low.....
The little boy reminded me of you CLoud... A strinking resembless I must say... And the girl? Well, she was similar to the one I killed before your eyes.
It was getting to a point to where he couldn't take it any more. Still grasping the swords handle in his grip...The sword was hidden in the snow....It was covered with snow the minute it started to snow heavily......Cloud could see his breath.....Obviously these men were not afraid of weather like this.....
And that was when he lunged to his feet fast and started to swing his buster sword right at Sephiroth's neck! The anger was at a boiling point! He had to let it out some way....This was the only way....For a soldier to let out his anger....((OH right....He never made Soldier.....As Zack pointed out to him one time..... But it was what was inside that counted.....))
