"Of course I am coming Cloud" Tifa replied jumping from her bed and ran down the stairs and out of the bar. Tifa didn't bother to even lock the door as she ran as fast as she could to sector three. The phone was still in her hand and she didn't hang up. Tifa was going to keep talking to Cloud until she gets there.
"Cloud can you hear me?... I am coming alright don't give up I am almost there" Tifa said gripping the phone tighter in her hand as she turned a corner and hurried as fast as she could to him.

Cloud gave a small weak smile as she said that over the phone....The rest of the Shinra's Troops were able to whipe out the rest of those strange rebels that attacked Midgar......So everyone was again safe....
"Cloud can you hear me?... I am coming alright don't give up I am almost there"
"I...I hear you....Barely....I'm trying...." That was the last thing he was able to say to her....And his eyes were closing on him....
"Cloud! Don't do this damn it!"
The 2nd Class Soldier was trying to help the injuries on Cloud's body....But any thing that would help Cloud now...Was only her.....
A paramedic team arrived in time.....They would rush Cloud to the nearest hospital.....Cloud had no healing materia on him at this moment....so this was critical....But still no one knew about the Life Stream......

"Cloud... CLOUD" Tifa yelled when she saw his body on the floor. Her tears fell as she ran to his side. At that time Tifa didn't care who was there. All she wanted was to help Cloud. He couldn't die... not without him knowing how she felt.
"Cloud please don't do this to me please wake up" She pleaded and prayed for a miracle as she sat there next to Cloud's unconscious body holding his hand. Her tears streamed down her cheeks before falling down on the bloody floor. Tifa didn't care where she was sitting or that she was surrounded by Shinra Soldiers and blood stains. All she wanted was to see Cloud open his mako blue eyes again

Cloud's heart was slowing down...But the paramediacs were trying. They didn't even stop Tifa as she ran over.....They figured that she was his friend....Despite not being in Soldier, Cloud still helped them out from time to time. This was what he was doing. Helping out....And this is where it's got him....On a possible death bed...Cloud had no idea that Tifa had made it and found him.....He was unconcious right now. The paramediacs eased Cloud's body onto a stretcher....Not one time had Cloud's eyes opened.
One 2nd Class Soldier grabbed Cloud's sword....It was stained with blood. He grabbed a cloth and whipped it clean.....
Finally the medical team was able to get a heart beat from the fallen Ex-Soldier....."We got a pulse...." One had informed.....Cloud finally moved his head towards Tifa's direction. But his eyes were still closed......

Was this her last chance? Tifa was terrified of losing Cloud. She didn't want to let it out the truth out but she didn't want him to die without knowing either. Even if he didn't share his feeling Tifa just wanted him to to know now.
She saw his head move to her side and griped his hand tighter to let Cloud know that she was there. "Cloud... there is something I have been meaning to tell you...Cloud for a long time now... I have been having these feelings towards you. I really like you but I was scared of how you would react once you knew this... that's why I kept it a secret. But now I am so scared of losing you..."

"Tifa....?" He asked in a weak tone after she gripped his hand tighter and told him her true feelings she has for him....The medical team kept on working on him.....As they got the bullet out of his side finally....And were now stitching him up.....He gripped her hand in response....As to let her know that he was there....
"I...had no idea....." He had feelings about her....But he was like her....He was unsure that she felt the same way. That was one reason he never told her.....Finally....If she never left her gaze on his face, she would see a smile appear on it.....and finally Cloud was trying to open his eyes....

Tifa saw Cloud smile as he opened his eyes and she smiled back weakly at him through her tears. She had no idea how he felt towards her or about what she just said. Fear was in her eyes she was still terrified of losing him the man she was in love with.
"Please... just don't go... Its okay if you don't feel the same way I... I just can't live without you." Tifa admitted closing her eyes as a few more tears fell down. Her eyes felt as if they were burning, she cried so much when she thought of losing him and that didn't stop.

"T...fia....I...."
But he couldn't say it all....Damn it....He was going to tell her everything....And some one placed an oxygen mask over his mouth.....He did feel the same way she did....how was he going to tell her now? His body was getting weaker....
"We've gotta move him...." One of the medical members said firmly.....Cloud's eyes were closing again....But he was trying to stay awake long enough. He didn't want to die....
Sunddenly out of the blew....Cloud's body started to move, he strained as hard as he could...And let go of Tifa's hand.....The medical guys tried to calm him down....His body was shutting down.....The pain was too intense this time around. He was not going to make it this time.....He felt tears fall from his closed eyes....They had grabbed a needled out of the medical bag...It was a calming sedation...To hopefully resolve this....They placed the needle in one of his arms....
And it was over....His body stopped moving.....One of the helpers checked Cloud's heart beat...No pulse.....They looked up at Tifa......

"No Cloud... No... NO" Tifa cried out as she felt her heart stop as well but that was only the pain. "This can't be happening Cloud please don't I need you..." Tifa's body started to tremble. She was in a state of shock. She couldn't lose Cloud now not after everything that has happened.
Of course Tifa knew nothing about the world order and than now the dead can rise from the Lifestream to have a second chance in life. "Cloud..." She cried out as she let her head lie on his chest and continued to cry.

"Tifa...?"
Where was he....? No....He didn't....He couldn't. Not now. He was going to tell her everything....So this was the Life Stream huh....Where do you go from here.....?
"Cloud....honey...."
"M...Mom...?" Cloud's mother hugged her son....And then she let go of him and looked into his eyes.....
"I've come to tell you some important.... Go back....You have that choice now.....So please.....go back...."
"I don't wanna go back....I've missed you....
"So will Tifa darling....She's already heart broken....You can go back through that portal....."
Cloud looked over to her right....And saw some thing...Was it a portal....What was it...? And if he could go back...why not her....He didn't even have to ask his mother that question.....
"I choose to remain dead honey.....My life over there is over....But you are still young.....And as handsome as ever....My grown up son.....I'm so proud of you....." She place a soft hand on Cloud's cheek....."So many people need you....So many.....My hero....Now go....."
Cloud backed away from his mother with tears in his eyes....As he walked through that portal....And as soon as he saw the exit for Gaia....He jumped through it.....And surprsingly he landed back inside his dead body that was still on the stretcher......
A cough came from his lips......As he opened his eyes....Even all his wounds were gone......He took a deep breath.....And opened his eyes all the way.....As he looked over at Tifa.....Tears ran down his face......

"STAY AWAY FROM ME" Tifa yelled as she felt one of the Soldiers place his hand on her shoulder. She just shoved him away from her. Tifa still hated Soldiers and Shinra for everything they have done in the past. She didn't trust them at all and apart of her blamed them for what just happened.
Of course she was upset no she was devastated. The one she loved was dead when she just got her chance to tell him about her feeling and opened up to him. Even though she was afraid Tifa wanted to hear what he felt towards her. But now that he was dead she could never know.
"Cloud... why did you leave... you promised you would... you promised you would protect me..." Tifa's head was still down so she had no idea that Cloud was opening his eyes... that he was alive. No one said anything and she just continued to cry.

He said when he knew that she didn't know he was back.....He saw the devastation on her face.....The tears rolling down her cheeks.....He tried to let her know he was back....He only came back so she wouldn't be alone in this world.....He knew she needed him.....His mother told him that....
"I'm here....Please don't cry....."
He raised his hand up and rubbed back a few strands of her hair to let her know......This was unexpected of him....Leaving like he did....He now knew that there was some thing wrong that he had a way to get back to life.....

Tifa heard those words 'I love you' but she thought that she was just imagining it seeing as she longed to heard them coming from Cloud for so long. She continued to cry as he eyes were closed but then she felt a hand brush strands of her hair back.
"Cloud…" she said as she opened her eyes this time she was sure she didn’t imagine it and she was right he was back to life. Was this real? She couldn’t believe it. "Cloud…?" Tifa said unsure as she looked into his eyes. "Are you really back?" she asked.

"Are you really back?"
"I...I hope I am....I love you Tifa....I've always loved you.....I've just been scared to tell you the truth...."
He hoped that she was listening to what he was saying now....That she knew now how he really felt....It took this death trip to open his eyes and see the truth behind her eyes.....He loved her.....He was scared that now some thing was going to separate them.....He didn't want that to happen.....He grabbed a hold of her hand in his....And let her know for sure that it was really him....

Cloud's wounds were completely healed and there was no trace of the bullet ever ripping through his skin not even a scratch. Tifa listened to him and smiled though her tears once she heard his words. "Cloud" She grabbed his hand and looked deep into his blue eyes. "I love you too"
She wiped her tears away and smiled brighter now before hugging Cloud to make sure he was really back. Not only was he back but Tifa finally got her answer and it was what she always dreamed of.
